Haematoma
Wrap treatments using the liquid for external use "Retterspitz Äußerlich" reduce swelling and pain and stimulate the blood flow, e.g. in the event of sprains and contusions. The muscle treatment "Retterspitz Muskelcreme" and roll-on muscle treatment "Retterspitz Muskelroller" also aid the healing process. Apply several times a day, preferably after removing a Retterspitz wrap, or instead of using a wrap.

Haemorrhoids
The healing and wound ointment "Retterspitz Wund- und Heilsalbe" supports the healing process. The essential oils it contains (spruce needle oil and mountain pine oil) have an odour-reducing effect. Retterspitz Wund- und Heilsalbe acts like a barrier against bacteria thanks to the supportive antimicrobial properties of the ingredient thymol. Retterspitz Wund- und Heilsalbe relieves pain and eases the passage of stool through the rectum by increasing the lubrication. Unless otherwise prescribed, apply Retterspitz Wund- und Heilsalbe once or several times a day to the affected skin area. Use a freshly washed fingertip to introduce a small amount of ointment into the anus after each bowel movement. Hands should be washed thoroughly with soap after rubbing in the ointment.

- adding oak bark extract, witch hazel or chamomile to a bath has a relaxing effect and alleviates the complaint

Hair care
The shampoo "Retterspitz Shampoo" cleanses your hair with a mild yet effective formula. It is also suitable for people with a sensitive scalp or dry, brittle hair. Tip: Treat your hair with the conditioner "Retterspitz Haarkur" two to three times a week for added care. Allow the treatment to soak in for two minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Additional tips- use skin-friendly silicone-free products to care for your hair
- not too hot: washing your hair with hot water dries it out and makes it brittle
- do not rub your hair dry, as this will cause breakage
- be gentle with your hairdryer: use a low or medium temperature, allow to air-dry whenever possible

The bronchial cream "Retterspitz Bronchial", with the essential substances camphor, menthol and thymol, is an anti-inflammatory expectorant that helps you breathe easy again. Rub a line of cream (approx. 5 cm) into the chest, back and sides several times a day.

The liquid for oral use "Retterspitz Innerlich" naturally balances excess acid, without causing acid to be produced after being taken and causing additional heartburn. Retterspitz Innerlich is a buffer solution that absorbs the excess acid and restores the natural acidity of the stomach. Recommendation: drink one small glass (20 ml) full of Retterspitz Innerlich five times a day or when urgently needed.

Hoarseness
The bronchial cream "Retterspitz Bronchial" with its active substances alleviates coughing and improves cold symptoms. Camphor and thymol have anti-inflammatory properties. Apply a line of cream (approx. 5 cm) to the chest and back several times a day and massage it in well. Tip: Fever and inflammation in head and throat areas can present as a sore throat, a tickly throat, or hoarseness. Early application of a throat wrap can often prevent it getting worse.
