A head start for treating injuries
Head injuries are particularly painful. Even just a small bump can trigger intense pain. Inflammation and swellings on the head can be alleviated quickly. The Retterspitz Kopfhaube, which consists of a double-layered inner head cover and a Molton fabric outer head cover, can be adjusted to fit all head sizes. For a cold wrap treatment, mix 50 ml of the liquid for external use "Retterspitz Äußerlich" with 50 ml cold water. Soak the linen cloth until it is fully saturated. Wring it out until it stops dripping, then put on the inner head cover and pull the outer head cover over the top. You’ll start to feel noticeably better after a few minutes. Remove the head cover after one and a half to two hours.

Tip: A towel can be wrapped around the head like a turban to accelerate the formation of the evaporative atmosphere.

How to use
For normal skin, you need approx. 80 ml of liquid (40 ml Retterspitz Äußerlich and 40 ml water).
Pour the solution into a small bowl and soak the inner wrap in the mixture until it is fully saturated. Wring out the liquid until it stops dripping and put on the inner head cover. Pull the outer head cover over the top and fix it in place by tying the straps, making sure that there are no creases on the forehead or cheeks and it makes good contact with the skin.
After the short cold phase, a warm, soothing feeling sets in, relaxing the patient and alleviating the pain. Remove the head cover after one and a half to two hours. Protect the head against drafts and the cold.
Tip: Wrapping a towel around the head like a turban over the top of the head cover increases its effectiveness.
